You decide to work in the fields without any fuss. How hard can it be [[right|Wrong]]?
You have been transported back in time, before the American Civil War. You glance down at your hands, and notice you now have dark skin, and figure out you're a slave. So, are you a [[man|Male]] or [[woman|Female]] slave?\n

You ask why she's making you work out there if you usually work in the house. She gets angry and advances towards you before striking you across the face, knocking you over. Will you [[get up|ohGod]] and retaliate, or [[stay down|ow]], and hope she stops?

You wait till the Overseer notices for fear he may punish you for your pause from working. The man slowly walks over, eyeing everyone picking cotton, before kneeling next to the old man, talking angrily at him. You hate the way he's treating everyone here, and you're sure he deserves some punishment. You see the white man get up kick the man. Do you [[stay silent|...]] and keep working or [[attack|SAVE]] the white man yourself?

An overview of a Slaves' Agency

He asks where you been working, since he doesn't recognize you. Do you work in the [[fields|mFields]] or the [[house|Inside]]?\n
You decide your life is much safer if you don't intervene. But now, you realize, you can't seem to tear your eyes away from whats happening. The overseer has dragged the old man a little ways away, and tied him to a short post. You can see he has gotten a whip and is preparing to punish him. You force youself to [[look away|whipSounds]].

You walk around the house to the back and enter the door, going into the kitchen. Other slaves are already working, bustling about and cooking. Do you [[join|Cook]] their cooking or [[look|Kids]] for more work?
He tells you to get going, since the children are getting up. You walk quickly towards the large house. \nDo you enter through the [[front door|frDoor]] or the [[back door|baDoor]]?
After hours and hours of picking cotton and stuffing bags, its now night. The old man thanks you for trying to help, but warns you not to anymore, for anyone. You thank him for the advice, and part ways. You follow the majority of the people towards a collection of shabby looking [[shacks|Home]].
As you walk up to the man, he sneers at you and asks you why you arent working yet. You can tell he isnt very nice, but you dont have a clear idea of the work youre doing. Do you just work from the [[example|Pick]] of the other people, or do you [[ask him|Sorry]] exactly what you're doing?
Do you ask him [[what work|oh no]] you have to do, or apologize and head to the [[fields|mFields]]?
You get to work, taking up an empty bag and finding a space along the rows and rows of cotton. The sun is boiling hot, and an older man, early 50's, collapses. The Overseer doesnt seem to notice. Do you [[wait|Punch]] till the Overseer checks on him or [[go help him|Help]] yourself?
A white man walks up to you and asks you why you aren't [[working|So]] yet. You assume its your master, or something of the sort.

You go over and check on the old man, but as you bend over him, the Overseer comes from behind and shoves you away, before roughly pulling the old man onto his knees. He tells both you and the old man to get back to work, then walks back to where he was before. You help the man back to his spot, then get back to [[working|Later]] on your row.
As you walk towards the front porch, an old woman stares you down a bit, making you feel nervous. Will you [[change your mind|baDoor]] or [[keep going|fDoor]]?
As you enter the field of short cotton plants, you see 3 or 4 other slaves already picking cotton off the plants, with a white man. You are yelled at to get to work as soon as you're in his line of sight. Do you [[approach|Hey]] the white man, or start [[picking|Pick]] cotton?
As you make it to the door, the old lady asks you what you think youre doing. You respond saying that you're just on your way in to help. Another younger white woman walks out of the house and yells at you, both for being on the front porch, and for being so late getting here. As punishement, she says, youre to work in the feilds for the day. Do you [[question|Beating]] her, or just go to [[work|mFields]]?
